As a parent, you know your child better than anyone. Maybe you've noticed they're struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behavior challenges, confidence, friendships, or adjusting to changes at home or school. Perhaps they're having a hard time expressing what they're feeling, and you're left wondering how to best support them. It can be difficult to watch your child struggle and not know exactly what they need. Seeking therapy is often a sign that you're paying attention, asking important questions, and looking for ways to help your child thrive. My goal is to create a space where both children and parents feel understood, supported, and hopeful.
I love working with children and have spent many years building meaningful relationships with kids of all ages. My approach is engaging, creative, and relationship-focused. I believe therapy should feel welcoming and enjoyable, not intimidating, and I often use humor, play, art, and creativity to help children feel comfortable and connected. Through play therapy, children can communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural to them, while art-based interventions provide additional opportunities for self-expression, emotional growth, and problem-solving. I am skilled at building rapport and helping children feel safe enough to explore challenges, develop coping skills, and discover their strengths.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and am very close to completing the requirements for full licensure. I have extensive experience working with children and families and am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each child's unique needs. I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where children feel valued and parents feel supported throughout the therapeutic process. It is a privilege to walk alongside families as they navigate challenges and work toward growth, resilience, and lasting positive change. If you're wondering whether therapy might be helpful for your child, I would be honored to connect with you and explore how we can work together to support your family's goals.
