Individual Counseling

Through in-person or virtual sessions, we can work through the struggles that have been weighing you down. Individual counseling is appropriate for those who are driven to spend time focusing inward so that they can be better adapted to what is happening around them. We utilize evidence-based practice to support and guide you while you pursue inner peace. River Haven Counseling accepts many common insurances utilized in the Fargo-Moorhead area, see below.

High Conflict

When it feels as though everyone is working against you. Through individual counseling, we will spend time to evaluate your relationships and foster resiliency within you to withstand the storm. We will listen and validate and gently teach skills to help you improve communication patterns between you and your loved ones.

Divorce Support

This is a decision that feels as though it will tear you apart. You are facing one of the most difficult decisions you have ever faced, and you may not know where to turn. We will help you step back and help you objectively evaluate your relationship so that you are able to make a sound decision and support you through the process of amends or divorce.

Depression, Anxiety, and Relational Trauma

You may or may not know what is contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing or how to change it. We utilize a systemic process to evaluate your symptoms and your environment to help you make meaningful, sustainable change.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Often times mental health struggles manifest in substance abuse. You may not be ready, able, or needing a formal, high-intensity substance abuse treatment program. We will work with you to evaluate how your mental health impacts your substance use and vice versa. There is no shaming, no blaming, only support and encouragement to help you pursue the recovery you want.

Offered by RaeAnn, RHC is proud to serve families who have been impacted by foster care and/or adoption because you deserve care from a provider that represents and understands your unique dynamics.

Grief

When life feels unbearable and you're unsure what your future will look like without your loved one, come see one of our providers for grief support. You do not have to navigate this lonely journey by yourself, RHC is here to help.

Caregivers of Adults with Alzheimer's or Dementia

Provided exclusively by Alyssa, this is an important dynamic that needs to be understood in your care. Alyssa has a background working in nursing homes in memory care units. When it feels like there simply isn't enough of you to go around, make sure to take the time to support yourself and find your own pillar of support.
